Spruce and Lichen Soap--Spice Lake

$9.00

Saponified oils of olive, coconut, and palm blended with spruce essential oil. Colored with charcoal and topped with spruce cones and lichens. Labeled with map and background information about Boundary Waters natural history:

“In June of 2023, thirty acres of forest burned in the area southwest of Spice Lake. It is now a moonscape of tree skeletons and bare rock covered with charred lichens, but life is already returning in the form of wildflowers growing in the ash between the rocks.”
